Penance and Reconciliation

Confessions are heard before and after each weekend Mass.  On Saturdays, the priest is available from 3:00 to 3:45 p.m., and at about 5:00 p.m.  On Sundays, the priest is available from 8:00 to 8:45 a.m., 10:00 to 10:45 a.m., and at about 12:00 noon.  If the priest is not in the confessional, let an usher know that you are waiting.  A Baptism may delay the start of Confessions.

Confessions are also heard after each weekday morning Mass.  Monday through Saturday, the priest is available for Confessions at about 8:00 a.m.  Just wait in the hallway after Mass.  Before the weekday morning Masses, the priest is not available for Confessions, as he is leading the Rosary.

The Confessional is located in the hallway between the church and the chapel.  The Stations of the Cross are also located in this hallway, across from the Confessional and the Sacristy.  If the priest is not in the confessional, please notify an usher that you are waiting for Confession.

In preparation for your next Confession, please remember to recite the Jesus Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner!

Please also download a special phone APP to prepare for your next Confession.  You can also use it as part of your daily examination of conscience.
