Reaching Out

Prayer Groups: Information

At the heart of our pastoral plan for spiritual renewal, our parish is forming small sharing groups for prayer, friendship, and service among our parishioners.  These prayer groups meet at the parish or in parishioner homes.  For information, please contact the pastor or read about our Prayer Groups.

Parish Anniversary: Information

In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the dedication of our church building on October 3, 2018, and the 30th anniversary of the founding of our parish community on April 5, 2019, we are preparing a pictorial directory for all our parishioners.  We invite you to be part of our Pictorial Directory.

Pastoral Plan: Information

If you knew that you could not fail, and that all the necessary resources were readily at your disposal, what great and wonderful things would you endeavor to accomplish for the glory of God and the good of all his people?  This is the starting point for our compelling Pastoral Plan.

Evangelization: Information

One of the main components of our Pastoral Plan is Evangelization.  Along with Discipleship and Charity, the New Evangelization welcomes people back to the Church.  It also inviteds people to come and experience Catholic Christianity for the first time.  This is our Evangelization Program.

About Saint Daniel Church in Wheaton

We are a faith-filled community of prayer, learning, and charity.  Come and join us in our journey, both spiritual and religious, as intentional disciples of Christ!  As forgiven sinners, we help each other faithfully follow the teachings of Christ and reverently celebrate his Sacraments in the noble Catholic Christian Tradition.

Our goal is to meet people where they are at, and to lead them to where God wants them to be.  God not only loves you just the way you are, he loves you even more, so that you may fully become all that he truly created you to be as his sons and daughters in Christ.

Saint Daniel Church: serving the southern Wheaton area since 1989 with the teachings of Christ and the sacraments of his love.  Did you know that it is not only possible, but also essential, to not only be "spiritual" but also to be "religious" as well?

Religion is the bridge that connects our spirituality to our daily life.  Come, let us build this bridge together in faith, hope, and love as Catholic Christians!  Come and join us as members of Saint Daniel Catholic Church in Wheaton!  All are welcome here!

"The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing!"

The main thing at our parish comuunity is salvation in Jesus Christ.  By keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus Christ, we are focused on what really matters.  Actually, that "what" is really a "who."  Our faith is not only an agreement with saving truths, nor is it only the observance of a moral code - it is an encounter with a person who is God, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior!

Catholic Christianity is not just a personal hobby, nor is it just a part of our busy personal lives, but an all-encompassing and comprehensive lifestyle in which we follow Christ with all our heart, soul, mind and strength.  Christ will do all the rest, both in us and through us.  So, dare to become the change that Christ offers this world, by allowing him to change your life for the better now!

As always, the main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing.  Best of all, the main thing is not really a thing at all, but a person, Jesus Christ, our Savior, our God, and the Lord of our lives!  Come and experience Christ in your life!  Join us as intentional disciples of Christ!  We invite you to become a member of our Saint Daniel Church community.  Click here for more information.
